Qué significa ERROR_NO_PHYSICALLY_ALIGNED_FREE_SPACE_FOUND

ERROR_NO_PHYSICALLY_ALIGNED_FREE_SPACE_FOUND (408) — No existe una región libre que cumpla la alineación física requerida por la operación.

La capacidad total libre puede ser suficiente y, aun así, no existir un extent cuyo inicio y fin respeten los límites físicos exigidos. Esto es distinto de quedarse simplemente sin espacio y suele depender de offsets, sectores físicos, RAID o geometría virtual.

Qué comprobar

  • Mapee las regiones ocupadas y libres usando offsets exactos en bytes.
  • Registre la alineación requerida además del tamaño solicitado.
  • Revise pequeñas particiones intermedias, recovery partitions y cambios de sector o topología.

Tratamiento recomendado

Mueva, reduzca o recree particiones con herramientas soportadas, o seleccione otro disco. No redondee offsets manualmente sin considerar metadatos y particiones ocultas. El cálculo de capacidad debe mostrar espacio realmente alineable, no solo bytes libres.
