SCHED_S_SOME_TRIGGERS_FAILED

SCHED_S_SOME_TRIGGERS_FAILED means the task was registered, but not every configured trigger will start it. Registration therefore succeeded only partially; treating the result as an unconditional success can leave a scheduled action silently unavailable.

Preserve the registration evidence

Save the final task XML returned or exported after registration, not only the template supplied by the installer or script.
Check the Task Scheduler Operational log for the trigger-level diagnostic identified by Microsoft’s status description.
Compare trigger types and properties with the Windows versions and policies on the target machine. A task can be valid overall while a particular trigger is disabled, unsupported, or constrained.

Recovery

Identify and correct the failed trigger, then re-register or update the task and verify that the intended trigger is now active. Do not replace all triggers with a broad periodic trigger: that can change the task’s security and timing semantics.
