FSRM_S_CLASSIFICATION_SCAN_FAILURES
FSRM_S_CLASSIFICATION_SCAN_FAILURES is a run-level warning: classification continued, but at least one configured volume or namespace root could not be scanned completely. Other volumes may still have valid reports and updated properties.
Identify the failed scan roots
- Read
ClassificationLastError, the generated report, and the FSRM application log. - Verify that each namespace root is online, locally accessible, and still included in the rule scope.
- Distinguish a volume-wide failure from isolated files reported as partial classification.
A successful service start or a report file on disk does not prove every volume was processed. Classification can be scheduled or started on demand, and the final status must be interpreted together with per-volume errors. Correct offline volumes, permission changes, mount-point changes, or module failures, then rerun only after the previous classification state is no longer active.
