WU_S_SEARCH_LOAD_SHEDDING is a success-status code with an important caveat: the search completed, but one or more update services were shedding load. Treat the result as potentially incomplete or degraded rather than as a clean all-clear.
What to do
- Retry the search later with backoff, especially if the expected service or update is missing from the result.
- Correlate the event with managed update-service capacity and any service-side throttling indicators.
- Record the service identity and search scope so a later successful scan can be compared with the degraded one.
