TAPI_E_TIMEOUT The TAPI operation did not complete within its allowed time.
What to check
- Record the operation, request ID, elapsed time, call/stream state, and last provider event.
- Determine whether the provider is still processing the request or whether it abandoned it.
- Correlate service-provider, network, and device timing before increasing timeouts.
Handling
Reconcile the original request outcome before retrying, especially for state-changing operations. Increase a timeout only when evidence shows the normal operation legitimately needs more time.
