What to check
- Verify the WSUS endpoint configured by policy and make sure it is not an obsolete address or path.
- Check IIS, proxy, and reverse-proxy routing for stale rewrite rules or removed content.
- If the issue began after server migration, validate that client policy was updated everywhere and that old names no longer resolve to retired services.
