WU_E_REDIRECTOR_INVALID_RESPONSE
WU_E_REDIRECTOR_INVALID_RESPONSE means the redirector request received an HTTP error status or a response that did not satisfy the client. It is a transport or response-validation clue, not proof that the update package itself is corrupt.
What to check
- Use
WindowsUpdate.logto identify the status code, endpoint, and whether a proxy participated. - Check proxy, firewall, and update-server logs at the same timestamp.
- Compare a failing client with a working client using the same service but a different network route.
