WU_E_DS_TABLEMISSING

WU_E_DS_TABLEMISSING means Windows Update could not find a table that its internal data store requires. It is a stronger signal of store inconsistency than a normal “no updates” result.

What to do

Check whether the error affects every scan or only one update source.
Collect Windows Update logs before attempting cache or component recovery, so the failed table operation and preceding errors remain visible.
If servicing failures also appear, inspect %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log and repair component-store issues separately from the update cache.
