PLA_E_TASKSCHED_CHANNEL_NOT_ENABLED
Scheduled Data Collector Sets depend on observable Task Scheduler state
PLA_E_TASKSCHED_CHANNEL_NOT_ENABLED means the relevant Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler channel is disabled. PLA can associate a Data Collector Set with schedules and follow-up tasks, and the missing channel prevents the requested diagnostic or reporting operation from observing that lifecycle.
Enable the appropriate Task Scheduler Operational channel, then reproduce one scheduled start and correlate task events with PLA events and output creation. Also verify that the task exists, its principal can log on, and its action refers to the intended set. Recreating the Data Collector Set alone will not repair a channel disabled by policy.
Scheduling evidence to correlate
- Task Scheduler Operational channel state.
- Registered task path and configured principal.
- Trigger time compared with PLA start events.
- Task result and Data Collector Set status.
