FVE_E_ACTION_NOT_ALLOWED
FVE_E_ACTION_NOT_ALLOWED commonly occurs when two BitLocker operations overlap, such as conversion, protector management, or a policy-driven action. The error does not by itself imply encryption corruption.
What to do
- Check current volume status and wait for the earlier action to complete.
- Identify overlapping deployment tools, scripts, or management policies that might be targeting the same drive.
- Retry only after the volume returns to a stable state and no other BitLocker operation is running.
