FVE_E_AD_ATTR_NOT_SET
FVE_E_AD_ATTR_NOT_SET means BitLocker could not find a required AD DS attribute value for the current operation. The client may lack rights to write recovery information, or the chosen recovery-backup policy may not be in effect.
What to check
- Verify that the device is domain joined and receiving the intended BitLocker policy.
- Check delegated permissions for writing the relevant recovery information to the computer object.
- Confirm the recovery protector is present before retrying escrow.
