STATUS_LOCAL_DISCONNECT
The local transport closed the connection
Determine which local component initiated the disconnect and whether it was part of orderly shutdown, cancellation, or error recovery. The remote peer may only observe the consequence.
This status means the connection ended from the local transport side. It is different from a peer reset or remote refusal because the local stack initiated or observed the local close.
What to inspect
- Check local socket or transport close paths.
- Correlate with service shutdown, adapter removal, or cancellation.
- Look for higher-level redirector messages such as delayed-write or DFS failover.
