STATUS_LINK_TIMEOUT
The virtual circuit timed out
Measure the operation that timed out and the link state immediately before it. Link timeout evidence should be separated from application-level request timeouts that occur after transport remains connected.
This status points to a timeout on an established transport path. It usually reflects a nonresponsive peer, lost route, stalled network, or transport timeout policy.
What to inspect
- Capture timeout values and last successful I/O.
- Check packet loss, routing, and remote host responsiveness.
- Do not diagnose this as authentication failure without security evidence.
