No portable device is available to the Player operation
NS_E_NO_PDA (0xC00D1179) is produced during portable-device enumeration. Player does not currently have a device object that can satisfy the requested synchronization or device action.
Check enumeration before sync logic
Record Plug and Play identity, Windows Media Device Manager/MTP visibility, transport, service-provider load result, and whether the device appears in a fresh Player session. A configured partnership does not prove the device is presently enumerated.
Verification
Reconnect or re-enumerate the intended device and retry only after it appears in the device collection. If the collection exists but is still initializing, preserve NS_E_PDA_INITIALIZINGDEVICES instead.
