NS_E_PDA_NO_LONGER_AVAILABLE

The device disappeared during or before the operation

NS_E_PDA_NO_LONGER_AVAILABLE (0xC00D1191) means the device object the Player was using can no longer be reached. This can follow unplug, power loss, transport reset, driver restart, or device re-enumeration.

Correlate the disappearance

Record device instance/partnership identity, last successful callback, disconnect or Plug and Play events, USB/MTP transport errors, and whether the device returned with a new instance identity.

Verification

Reconnect the same device, wait for enumeration to complete, reacquire a current device interface, and retry the operation. Do not keep using an object obtained before the disconnect. If reconnection succeeds but sync policy or format fails, treat that subsequent HRESULT separately.
