NS_E_WMP_CD_ANOTHER_USER

NS_E_WMP_CD_ANOTHER_USER: another user session owns the CD operation or drive state needed by Windows Media Player

NS_E_WMP_CD_ANOTHER_USER (0xC00D11CF) identifies a narrow contract boundary: another user session owns the CD operation or drive state needed by Windows Media Player. Do not replace it with a generic subsystem failure when the symbolic result already tells you which state or input was rejected.

Evidence

record drive device, owning session/user, active Player/rip/burn process, device handles, and session-change events.

Verification

finish or release the operation in the owning session, then retry from one session with exclusive ownership.
