NS_E_SLOW_READ_DIGITAL_WITH_ERRORCORRECTION

NS_E_SLOW_READ_DIGITAL_WITH_ERRORCORRECTION: CD digital extraction with error correction cannot sustain the required read rate

NS_E_SLOW_READ_DIGITAL_WITH_ERRORCORRECTION (0xC00D11FD) identifies a narrow contract boundary: CD digital extraction with error correction cannot sustain the required read rate. Do not replace it with a generic subsystem failure when the symbolic result already tells you which state or input was rejected.

Evidence

capture drive model, disc/track, correction mode, sector retries, measured throughput, and competing drive activity.

Verification

repeat the same track with correction disabled only as a diagnostic comparison, or use a drive/media combination that can sustain corrected reads.
