Time-code mode differs for the same source across audiences
NS_E_SMPTEMODE_MISMATCH (0xC00D1BAD) means one source index is configured with different SMPTE/time-code modes in different audiences. The profile must keep that source's time-code treatment consistent.
Prove the mismatch
Export the profile and record the time-code/SMPTE mode for the same source index in every audience, together with source identity and audience index. Do not compare unrelated source indexes.
Retest
Choose one supported time-code mode for that source across audiences, validate the same profile, and repeat setup. Keep interlace and codec settings unchanged. If validation then reports a different cross-audience mismatch, preserve that HRESULT rather than broadening the change.
