MQ_ERROR_PROPERTY MQ_ERROR_QUEUE_NOT_ACTIVE

MQ_ERROR_QUEUE_NOT_FOUND

MQ_ERROR_QUEUE_NOT_FOUND means that Message Queuing could not resolve the requested queue. For a public queue, the queue may not be registered in Active Directory Domain Services; for a remote queue, the result can also reflect access restrictions or a queue that no longer exists.

What to check

  • Check that the queue path or format name identifies the intended public, private, direct, or Internet queue.
  • For a remote peek or receive, confirm that the remote queue still exists and that the caller has the necessary access rights.
  • If the application starts from a public path name, verify directory-service availability before treating this as a transport failure.
