DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION
DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION identifies a bounds violation by a driver. Microsoft describes the access as going beyond the end of the driver's pool allocation. Unlike the freed-pool D5 stop, the defining error is the allocation boundary, not a pointer used after free.

Parameter 1 is the memory address referenced, parameter 2 reports read versus write, and parameter 3 is the referencing instruction address when available. Resolve parameter 3 to a symbol and compare parameter 1 with the allocation size and indexing logic used by the driver.
Typical code review target
Audit length arithmetic, element counts versus byte counts, trailing variable-size structures, DMA or protocol payload lengths, and loops that allow the index to reach one element past the valid range. Special Pool is designed to place a guard page at an allocation boundary so the invalid access faults near the point of corruption. Enlarging the buffer can hide the symptom while leaving the arithmetic bug intact.
