STATUS_RXACT_COMMITTED

A deferred registry-subtree commit completed

RXACT is a legacy RTL transaction mechanism that records a set of changes for a registry subtree and then applies or aborts that set as a unit. This success status is meaningful because an earlier commit attempt did not finish, while a later operation completed the pending commit.

Treat the result as completion of the existing RXACT state, not as evidence that a new transaction was created. Code that owns the transaction should close or reinitialize its context only after verifying the intended values, because the original interruption may have occurred between individual registry writes.

What to inspect

  • Record the subtree and transaction context that produced the status.
  • Read back the values that were expected to change instead of repeating the commit blindly.
  • Check whether the process or service previously terminated during configuration work.
  • Do not confuse RXACT statuses with KTM-backed transacted registry APIs.
