ERROR_CTX_WD_NOT_FOUND
ERROR_CTX_WD_NOT_FOUND means Remote Desktop Services could not load the terminal connection driver referenced by its configuration. The issue is on the Session Host and occurs before a normal user session can be established.
What to check
- Find the first related event in the System and TerminalServices logs; later connection errors are usually secondary symptoms.
- Check whether the problem started after a Windows update, role change, security product deployment, or listener configuration change.
- Validate the RDS role installation and system servicing state before changing user or licensing settings.
