ERROR_CTX_NO_FORCE_LOGOFF
ERROR_CTX_NO_FORCE_LOGOFF means a user is already logged on to the console and the caller does not have permission to force that user off. The restriction prevents an RDP connection attempt from unexpectedly ending the console user’s work.
What to check
- Identify the console user and confirm whether a normal sign-out can be coordinated.
- Use an authorized administrative session or a supported maintenance window if an action truly requires exclusive access.
- Do not treat this as a network or RDS licensing failure.
