STATUS_SPACES_COMPLETE
Completion belongs to a specific storage operation
This informational status indicates that the provider has completed the operation represented by the current request. It should not be interpreted as proof that a larger workflow also completed: creating a virtual disk, exposing it to a host, partitioning it, and formatting a volume are separate stages with different result objects and failure modes.
Use the result in context
- Correlate the status with the Storage job or the cmdlet that issued the request; do not re-submit an operation solely because an asynchronous caller received this notification.
- For repair workflows, verify the resulting virtual-disk and physical-disk states rather than relying on the completion message alone.
- For provisioning workflows, separately confirm that the intended virtual disk exists with the expected size, layout, and resiliency settings.
