QUERY_E_ALLNOISE_AND_NO_RELDOC
QUERY_E_ALLNOISE_AND_NO_RELDOC combines two diagnostic facts: none of the specified relevant documents could be resolved, and a query clause was reduced to noise words by linguistic processing. Both inputs must be checked; fixing only the document identifiers can still leave an empty full-text clause.
Inspect relevant-document identifiers and post-word-breaker terms
- Log every relevant-document identifier exactly as submitted and verify that it belongs to the queried catalog/scope.
- Record the query LCID because word breakers and noise-word processing are language dependent.
- Reduce the full-text clause to non-noise terms and retest separately from the relevant-document list.
Microsoft documents that noise words are removed from query terms and are not stored as searchable keys. Windows Search likewise applies language resources during query processing. A clause containing only ignored words has no useful matching terms. Keep this code distinct from QUERY_E_NO_RELDOC, where the relevant documents are missing without the additional all-noise condition.
