FSRM_E_INPROC_MODULE_BLOCKED
FSRM_E_INPROC_MODULE_BLOCKED means FSRM refused to run an unknown or unapproved pipeline module inside the service process. In-process modules share the service failure and security boundary, so FSRM applies stricter restrictions than for hosted modules.
Use the supported hosting model
- Verify the module definition, COM identity, vendor deployment, and account configuration.
- Prefer the documented hosted/out-of-process account mode unless the module is explicitly trusted for service-process execution.
- Test
OnLoad, connector binding, and unload behavior before enabling production rules.
Do not weaken service security or copy an arbitrary DLL into a trusted location to bypass the block. A crash, deadlock, or memory corruption in an in-process classifier affects the whole FSRM service. Correct the installer and module definition, and use event logs to confirm which module identity was rejected.
