FSRM_E_CANNOT_USE_DEPRECATED_PROPERTY
FSRM_E_CANNOT_USE_DEPRECATED_PROPERTY means a rule, report, or file-management job still depends on a property definition marked as deprecated. The definition may remain visible for migration, but new or updated policy objects cannot rely on it.
Migrate the property deliberately
- Identify the replacement definition, including its type, allowed values, applicability, and global identity.
- Update classification rules and file-management conditions before removing the old reference.
- Reclassify affected files when stored values are not automatically mapped to the replacement.
Changing only the display name does not migrate the property identity or stored values. Keep the deprecated definition long enough to inventory consumers, but do not create new dependencies on it. After updating the policy graph, verify that reports and access decisions read the replacement property and then retire the old definition according to the deployment plan.
