FSRM_E_CANNOT_USE_DELETED_PROPERTY
FSRM_E_CANNOT_USE_DELETED_PROPERTY reports a broken configuration reference: a rule or job expects a property definition that is absent from the active FSRM schema. Existing file metadata with a similar name does not repair that reference.
Restore schema consistency
- Find every rule, condition, report, and task that references the missing property identity.
- Restore the original compatible definition or migrate consumers to a supported replacement.
- Synchronize Active Directory resource properties before testing domain-backed definitions.
Recreating a property with the same label but a different type or allowed-value list can change policy behavior. Compare exports or domain definitions to recover the original schema. After migration, run classification on test files and confirm both persisted values and file-management selection before deleting orphaned metadata.
