WU_E_INVALID_CRITERIA

WU_E_INVALID_CRITERIA is primarily a Windows Update Agent API error. The search expression passed to IUpdateSearcher::Search does not follow the WUA criteria language.

How to correct it

Validate property names, value quoting, and the placement of AND and OR in the criteria string.
Microsoft documents that OR can be used only at the top level of the search expression.
Start with a minimal supported query, then add filters one at a time while logging the final criteria sent to WUA.
