TPM_20_E_REBOOT
TPM_20_E_REBOOT maps to TPM_RC_REBOOT. The TPM requires _TPM_Init and TPM2_Startup(TPM_SU_CLEAR) before normal command processing can resume. The TPM 2.0 commands specification uses this result after the final field-upgrade data block when a reboot is required.
Operational meaning
- Stop submitting ordinary TPM work until the platform completes the documented reboot and startup sequence.
- Preserve the surrounding firmware-update or boot evidence; this status is not an application retry signal.
- Use vendor-supported TPM firmware and recovery procedures, because an interrupted or incompatible upgrade can alter device state.
