TPM_20_E_AUTHSIZE maps to TPM_RC_AUTHSIZE. The authorizationSize field is out of range or the authorization area contains more octets than required. This is a wire-format problem in the command authorization area, not a failed authorization value.
What to verify
- Rebuild the authorization area from the session structures instead of reusing a byte buffer after changing session count or attributes.
- Confirm the command tag agrees with the presence or absence of authorization sessions.
- Differentiate from
TPM_20_E_AUTH_CONTEXT, which rejects sessions on a command where sessions are not permitted at all.
