PLA_E_EXE_PATH_NOT_VALID
PLA validates the trace target before launching collection
PLA_E_EXE_PATH_NOT_VALID means the configured ExePath cannot be opened as the intended executable. Common causes include an unexpanded environment variable, deployment to a different directory, a stale versioned filename, or access checks performed under another account.
Resolve the path exactly as the run-as identity will see it, confirm the file type and architecture, and avoid depending on the current working directory. If software servicing replaces the executable, regenerate or update the persisted collector definition. The error concerns the target path; changing API filters cannot make a missing image valid.
