FVE_E_NO_TPM_BIOS
FVE_E_NO_TPM_BIOS means the firmware did not communicate the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) information that BitLocker needs for a TPM-based protector. This is a platform or firmware integration problem, not a lost recovery key.
What to check
- Confirm in Windows and firmware setup that the TPM is enabled and ready.
- Record or escrow recovery material before changing TPM, firmware, or boot-security settings.
- Check for an OEM firmware update only after confirming it applies to the exact device model and TPM configuration.
