FVE_E_TPM_INVALID_PCR
FVE_E_TPM_INVALID_PCR means that TPM platform configuration register measurements do not match the values expected by the BitLocker protector. This can happen after legitimate firmware, boot, or boot-configuration changes as well as after unexpected changes.
How to investigate
- Use the approved recovery method to regain access, then determine what changed in the boot or firmware environment.
- Check recent firmware, Secure Boot, boot-manager, or BCD changes and organization deployment actions.
- Do not repeatedly alter boot configuration in an attempt to bypass recovery; preserve recovery information and follow the established recovery process.
