FWP_E_OUT_OF_BOUNDS
FWP_E_OUT_OF_BOUNDS means an integer field is outside the range accepted by WFP. The failing field may be a weight, port, index, lifetime, protocol value, or another constrained numeric property.
How to narrow it down
- Log every numeric member passed to the API, not only the final HRESULT.
- Check for signed-to-unsigned conversion, truncation, or byte-order mistakes.
- Validate the selected value against the definition of the exact WFP structure and OS version.
