STATUS_LOGON_SESSION_EXISTS
The requested LSA logon session already exists
This status indicates a collision in logon-session creation. The LSA already has a session with the requested identifier or state, so the operation cannot create a duplicate.
It is usually an authentication-package or session-manager state problem, not a user typing the wrong password.
What to inspect
- Preserve the LUID/session id and the authentication package that requested it.
- Look for duplicated create paths after retry or recovery.
- Check whether a failed cleanup left session state active.
