STATUS_NOT_CLIENT_SESSION
A client-only transport operation was issued on a server session
This is the counterpart to STATUS_NOT_SERVER_SESSION. The operation requires a session that originated as a client connection, but the supplied transport context belongs to the server side of an accepted session.
Keep role information explicit in connection objects and do not infer it from the direction of the latest packet. In callback-based legacy stacks, accepted and initiated connections can use similar structures while allowing different requests, which makes accidental context reuse difficult to diagnose.
What to inspect
- Capture whether the connection was accepted or initiated locally.
- Verify that callback and request contexts are not shared across opposite roles.
- Route the operation to a client session or use the server-side equivalent.
