STATUS_OBJECTID_NOT_FOUND
The file has no object ID to return
This status is specific to NTFS object ID metadata. A file can have a normal file ID and still lack an object ID attribute; object IDs are optional metadata used by some tracking features.
Diagnostics should not assume that every file has this object. The caller may need to create an object ID where the API permits it, or use file IDs and paths instead.
What to inspect
- Distinguish NTFS file IDs from optional object IDs.
- Check whether the volume and file system support object IDs.
- Do not treat absence of an object ID as file disappearance.
