STATUS_DISK_REPAIR_DISABLED
Disk or NTFS self-healing is disabled for the requested repair
NTFS has self-healing repair support that can fix some corruptions online. This status means the attempted operation required that repair path, but the repair feature or policy was disabled.
Check why repair is disabled for the affected disk or volume and whether policy, current state, or the storage technology disallows it. Enabling unrelated services will not change a storage repair policy.
What to inspect
- Check fsutil repair state for the volume.
- Review why online repair was disabled by policy or administration.
- Use scheduled offline repair if online self-healing is unavailable.
