RPC_NT_NO_CALL_ACTIVE

RPC_NT_NO_CALL_ACTIVE is an NTSTATUS value used by the Windows RPC runtime. This status means an API that operates on the current RPC call was used when the calling thread had no active remote procedure call. It is a local call-context error, not a server response and not evidence that the remote host is unavailable.

It differs from RPC_NT_CALL_IN_PROGRESS, where a call exists and has not completed, and from RPC_NT_NOT_LISTENING, which is a server listener state. The diagnostic focus is the caller thread and callback scope.

A call-control action was requested outside an active RPC call
