NS_E_STRIDE_REFUSED
What NS_E_STRIDE_REFUSED means
NS_E_STRIDE_REFUSED (0xC00D0045) means Windows Media refused the requested fast-forward or rewind stride.
Evidence to preserve
Capture the stream/session, current position, requested direction and stride rate or target, and the capabilities reported for seeking/trick play.
Interpretation
Playback success at normal rate does not imply that the source, protocol, or server supports arbitrary stride operations.
Recovery and verification
Use a supported seek or playback-rate operation for that source. If the capability changed after reconnect or format negotiation, refresh the session before retrying.
