NS_E_DISK_FAIL
NS_E_DISK_FAIL: Content Server disk state
NS_E_DISK_FAIL (0xC00D0055) means Windows Media Services reports that a Content Server disk has failed.
Evidence to preserve
Preserve the disk UID and any secondary identifier, server name, member state, and the first device, filesystem, or controller error associated with the failure.
How to interpret it
This is stronger than a single read or write error: the server has classified the disk itself as failed. Even so, the exact member identity must be established before replacement.
Recovery and verification
Verify the failing member independently, protect any remaining recoverable data, and follow the Content Server replacement or rebuild procedure for that disk rather than altering healthy members.
