Diagnosing NS_E_WMPIM_USERCANCELED

The result NS_E_WMPIM_USERCANCELED (0xC00D1127) means the Windows Media Player import/metadata operation was canceled by the user.

Reproduce the same boundary

capture the UI/action being canceled, item/device identity, cancellation timestamp, worker/callback state, and any partial artifacts.
Preserve the first lower-level status, request ID, or object generation before retry/cleanup changes it.

treat cancellation as a control outcome; clean up partial work and do not report it as an infrastructure failure. A new HRESULT afterward is evidence that execution crossed this boundary.
