NS_E_NO_AUDIENCES (0xC00D1BB0) is raised when an encoder profile that requires audience definitions reaches validation with an empty audience collection. There is nothing to which output stream settings and bitrates can be attached.
Confirm how the collection became empty
Record the profile source/template, audience count immediately after load, and each edit performed before validation. Conversion code can accidentally clear audiences while preserving unrelated stream objects.
Correction
Create at least one intended audience with complete stream/rate settings, or load a valid profile that already defines one. Do not treat this as a source-group failure; the missing object is in the output profile itself.
