MF_E_NET_READ
MF_E_NET_READ means a read from the media server, proxy, or transport stream failed. It is useful to distinguish this from a parser error: the byte stream was interrupted before media processing could continue.
What to check
- Check server, proxy, and client logs for a closed connection or a transport reset.
- Record whether the source selected TCP or UDP, because the recovery path differs.
- Use network-source statistics to identify repeated buffering or falling throughput before the read failure.
