MF_E_TOPO_MISSING_PRESENTATION_DESCRIPTOR

MF_E_TOPO_MISSING_PRESENTATION_DESCRIPTOR means a source-stream node is incomplete. A playback source node must carry the media source, the presentation descriptor, and the stream descriptor that identify the selected source stream represented by that node.

Set all source-node objects from the same source presentation

Call IMFMediaSource::CreatePresentationDescriptor to obtain the source's descriptor.
Store it on the node with MF_TOPONODE_PRESENTATION_DESCRIPTOR.
Use a stream descriptor enumerated from that presentation descriptor and attach the corresponding media source to the same node.

Do not reconstruct an unrelated presentation descriptor merely to satisfy the attribute. The three objects define one source-stream identity, and mismatched objects can lead to later selection or connection failures.
