MF_E_ITA_OPL_DATA_NOT_INITIALIZED
MF_E_ITA_OPL_DATA_NOT_INITIALIZED is an ITA state-ordering failure. Output Protection Level data required for WMDRM policy generation has not been initialized when the ITA attempts to use it.
Trace ITA initialization before requesting output policy
- Log creation of the ITA, the protected stream/action, and the first call that requests policy.
- Check error recovery that reuses an ITA after a failed license or DRM-header initialization step.
- Do not share one mutable ITA state across independent protected streams unless the implementation explicitly supports it.
The code differs from MF_E_BAD_OPL_STRUCTURE_FORMAT, where OPL data exists but is malformed, and from MF_E_OPL_NOT_SUPPORTED, where the requirement cannot be supported. Here the OPL state is not ready. Repeated OTA policy calls cannot initialize missing ITA data. Find the earlier initialization or rights-processing step that should establish OPL information before GetPolicy.
