MF_E_CONTENT_PROTECTION_SYSTEM_NOT_ENABLED

MF_E_CONTENT_PROTECTION_SYSTEM_NOT_ENABLED points to application-side protected-media configuration. The protected stream identifies a content-protection system, but that system was not enabled for the playback path that is trying to initialize it.

Inspect protection-system registration on the exact playback object

Record the protection-system GUID reported by the service request or protected source.
For MediaProtectionManager paths, inspect MediaProtectionSystemId and the MediaProtectionSystemIdMapping property set used for that playback instance.
With MediaStreamSource, verify that a protection manager is attached before protected streams are opened; Microsoft requires the system ID and ID mapping properties for protected streams.

This differs from MF_E_UNSUPPORTED_CONTENT_PROTECTION_SYSTEM. Here the immediate problem is that the application has not enabled the system in its configuration path. Do not start by changing codecs or output-protection policy. Compare the failing playback instance with a known working one and preserve the exact property set, trusted-input activation mapping, and order in which the protection manager is attached.
