STATUS_CLUSTER_CSV_NOT_REDIRECTED
The operation expected redirected CSV I/O, not direct access
STATUS_CLUSTER_CSV_NOT_REDIRECTED is the inverse state mismatch: the caller asks for an operation that is valid only while CSVFS is redirected, but the current node has direct access. It is not proof that a CSV should be forced into redirected mode.
Verify the operation’s preconditions and the component that requested redirected behavior. A normal direct state is generally preferable for data path performance; changing it simply to satisfy an unexpected request can add network traffic and obscure why that request expected redirection.
What to verify
- The exact API or maintenance workflow that required redirected behavior.
- Per-node CSV state and redirection reasons rather than only disk ownership.
- Whether a backup, filter, storage, or validation workflow is driving the request.
