STATUS_RESOURCEMANAGER_NOT_FOUND
The resource-manager identity does not resolve in the selected transaction manager
Resource managers are named KTM objects associated with a particular transaction manager. A valid GUID from another TM, an object that was never recovered, or a resource manager deleted during restart will not be found in the current namespace.
This differs from an existing resource manager that is offline. First verify object identity and TM association; only then investigate whether it needs to be started or recovered.
What to inspect
- Log the resource-manager GUID and transaction-manager identity used by the open call.
- Verify the resource manager was created or recovered in this TM instance.
- Check for stale persisted GUIDs after reinstall, clone, or log replacement.
- Do not silently create a new RM under the missing identity when unresolved enlistments may still exist.
